Hello Everybody, at first I want to say sorry about my Bad English,

Nobody really knows when or If "release The Drones" will be released. Maybe It will take Years or It will never Be Released.
So I Think we should do something against this Problem. We Should record the Demos from the Release The Drones Microsite (http://www.childrenofthemonkeybasket.com/RTD/Through_Glass_Darkly.html) and post them on rapidshare, megaupload, ... . Ok this are only Demos but I Thing It's better than Nothing

Hello anybody out There???

I really don't why i don't get any reaction about my idea to record the demos and post them on rapidshare or megauplad or something different. I would do it on my own but i can't because my Internet conection is to bad to stream it. If somebody has a better Idea than he or she should post it on this forum.

I don't know if I have them all, so could someone say how many were put on the crystal ball in total? They're all in video format too, so I'd have to arse about separating the audio from the visual.

Just a reminder that most of the stuff that is put on sites like these (Crystal Ball, Loop & RtR microsites) are mainly bits and pieces from rehearsals and recording sessions and rarely complete tracks. Mick only put these up @ the LOOP-site back then. So I doubt it will be very representative to collect the Globe-tracks and kep them as good examples of how 'Release The Drones' would sound.

As Mick specifically told in the interview in Paris, only 4 tracks are near-finished and almost in releasable shape. The rest eeds more work.

At this moment there are no plans to release the nearly finished tracks or work on the others, as this takes a group effort. Which at this point won't happen.

All we can do for the time being, is hoping the lads will decide to come back and pick up where they left off in the nearest future they think is possible. It's up to them.

Oh, I thought they have got more songs (nearly) complete than only 4. But I think It would be realy good, if They would only realese this 4 nearly complete Songs (as they are). It would be very easy and would not take any Kind of Work for them to relese it. They could realese it as the Release The drones EP on iTunes or on their Homepage or on rapidshare,... I would Pay for it if they release it.
But It is their decision. Maybe the result of The Release The Drones Sessions was absolutely Shit and a waste of Time and Money (Gaz said that swapped instruments on several tracks during its recording that must be the reason of the musical and creative differences and the Split ) But I think The Songs would not be Their best but also not Their worst. They have got a lot of work with the New Album It would be To sad that nobody will ever be hear it .
